19 2009 Former Pa. weight-loss firm customers repaid $500k The Associated Press HARRISBURG Pa. – Customers of the bankrupt Pennsylvania company Pure Weight Loss Inc. are cashing $500000 worth of repayment checks thanks to a consent decree negotiated by state prosecutors. Attorney General Tom Corbett said Tuesday that the money has been sent to more than 2300 customers around the country. Corbett says the money is for products or services the customers paid for but didn’t receive. The average check is for $212.
